Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions apply to contracts for the rental of hotel rooms for accommodation purposes as well as all additional services provided by Hotel Schlossblick (hereinafter referred to as “Hotel”) in connection with such accommodation.
The contractual parties are Hotel Schlossblick and the guest.
Deviating terms and conditions of the guest shall not apply unless the Hotel expressly agrees to their validity in writing.
2. Conclusion of Contract
The contract is concluded upon acceptance of the guest’s booking request by the Hotel.
In the case of online bookings via the website or a booking system (e.g. DIRS21), the contract is concluded upon completion of the booking process and receipt of the booking confirmation.
By making a booking, the guest acknowledges these GTC.
3. Services, Prices and Payment
The Hotel undertakes to keep the booked rooms available and to provide the agreed services.
The guest undertakes to pay the agreed or applicable prices for the rooms and any additional services.
The prices include statutory value-added tax.
Invoices are payable in full without deduction at the latest upon departure.
The Hotel does not require advance payments but reserves the right to request a credit card guarantee in individual cases.
4. Cancellation by the Guest
Free cancellation is possible up to 3 days before the agreed arrival date.
In the event of cancellation less than 3 days before arrival, 70% of the agreed total price will be charged.
In the event of non-arrival (no-show), 100% of the agreed total price will be charged.
The guest reserves the right to prove that no damage or significantly lower damage has been incurred.
5. Withdrawal by the Hotel
The Hotel is entitled to withdraw from the contract for objectively justified reasons, in particular if:
force majeure or other circumstances beyond the Hotel’s control make fulfillment of the contract impossible
rooms were booked under misleading or false information
the hotel operation or the safety of the premises is at risk
No claim for damages by the guest shall arise from such withdrawal.
6. Provision and Return of Rooms
The booked rooms are available to the guest on the day of arrival between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
On the day of departure, the rooms must be vacated no later than 11:00 a.m.
In the event of delayed vacating, the Hotel may charge an additional usage fee.
7. Liability
The Hotel is liable for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health.
For other damages, the Hotel is only liable in cases of intent or gross negligence.
The Hotel is liable for items brought onto the premises in accordance with statutory provisions (§§ 701 et seq. German Civil Code – BGB).
8. Pets
Dogs are warmly welcome at the Hotel.
A cleaning fee of €20.00 per dog per night will be charged.
The guest is liable for any damage caused by the animal.
9. WiFi Use
The Hotel provides its guests with free WiFi. The guest undertakes not to misuse it or use it unlawfully.
10. Final Provisions
Amendments or supplements to the contract must be made in writing.
German law shall apply.
Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
